Concept:

This was at first an experiment to test out the porting capabilities of half life to the source engine. It became a reality when the company saw it as a big hit and decided to remake day of defeat and Team fortress classic and it became a hit! Counter-Strike copies half life 2 physics so that bodies fly, barrels explode adding to the addictive gameplay.

Multiplayer:

This is the main part of counter strike source, the multiplayer.

You can tell valve took its time perfecting this because there are some much good things to say about it. Their are always people online, no matter if its 2am there time or 10pm your time. You can always find a match to get into. A big thing about counter -strike is that you can make friends very easily and the game requires a decent amount of teamwork on some game-types. The game made sure that it will not be hacked, now there are a few hackers online but you can rarely find them due to valve's support.

Mods:

Here is something i didn't know after playing the game is that you can make your own scripts for the game or make your own maps. Now due to the enormous amount of info i have to give you in order to do this i will not show you how but you can easily do a google search on the subject and i guarantee you there will be a couple tutorials on it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a First Person Shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Actvision. The game is playable on Windows, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

This time the game character Sergeant "Soap" MacTavish returns, now as a SAS captain. MacTavish leads the international elite Task Force "Task Force 141" which is created to run counter to the Russian ultra-nationalists.

The graphics are very well done as well as the maps. The missions gives you adrenelin kicks just like you were in the game.

The game gets a 8/10 by us because of the great missions, the only downside is that you need a game client called "Steam" to play the game.

1st Thoughts:

Well I never got to beat fable 1, i found the game play really fun but also kinda repetitive... So i quit playing the game and than couple years later fable 2 comes out. I just had to see what all the talk was about



Storyline

The storyline is killer! Not only will you be thrown off by it, it adds to the story its basically a movie. When your sister gets shot its pretty dramatic... And left me with the words like "WTF?"
Also the evil plot is very good, its got such a twist to it. You can tell the developers took there time to think of something and they did much more than that.


Gameplay

The weapons... Now here is were fable 2 shined in my eyes. The weapons are very cool. pistols , swords, axes, maces they don't leave much out for melee medieval weapons and thats what makes it o so fun

Will powers...

Man i can not tell you how fun it is when u have a whole bunch of enemy's near you and you decide to send a shocking bolt into their system.
Knocking out loads of guys. The will powers have a lot to choose from and you will not get all of them at their top skill level b4 you beat the game.

Quests

Fable is known for their quests and this one is nothing different. Countless quests, assassinations , bottle smashing, evil killing quests will leave you wanting more and trust me fable has tons for you. Plus your getting experience when you do them not to mention a decent amount of gold.

-Demon Doors (theres about 50 to open if you know what im talking about. one has 50 k in it)

-3 choices after you beat the game... (Money, Love, Sacrifice)

Conclusion

I just happen to beat this game yesterday and i highly recommend it, go give it a shot and please try not to kill those villagers

Yakuza 3 has finally made it over to the states and here is my review



So tell me first is it worth it?

The high price tag is actually right fully placed this game will keep you entertained for hours and has a nice rpg/GTA feel

Basic Storyline

Yakuza 3 is all set around a japenese mafia and tho you start out in a orphange your fellow members get killed and you find yourself going back into your life of crime

Gameplay

The gameplay is kinda like grand theft auto, you are always getting into fights on the streets and using a bunch of objects that are lying around to "aid" you. Its very fun to get a sign and smack a person with it. Feels kinda like a wwe game doesn't it?
its not all about gta gameplay tho, your character levels up and the more you level up the better your health is and power and so forth feeling like an rpg in a way and it fits the game though

Cut Scenes

There are some pro's and con's here

The scene graphics are great and man it feels like your right there but some of things do need working. All the cutscenes are in Japanese and it gets very annoying to have to read text after text after text to understand whats really going on tho on the other hand the graphics will give you a first person perspective of whats going on. So its like a 50/50 right there

Also during cutscenes there are some other cinematic missions that happen with like a character coming up to you asking for your help or some stupid task you have to do so u must take care of that b4 you get to watch the video kinda a downer if you ask me.

Graphic Wise

This game came out in japan a few years back so there are a couple things that could use some tweaking to get them better. All and all there good tho but lack the greatness of a very outstanding looking game. Some scenery is added more than once and some area's look the same.

So why is it getting good reviews?

The reason is simple, its got an arcade style feel to it. Its like street fighter mixed with an rpg so the style is somewhat of its own. Some reviews are saying that its a great sequel to the other yakuza series. I agree because i spent some time playing the other games and ya there right.

IGN recommends getting the game and gave it a 8.5 which is higher than what i would have rated it myself but those folks over there do know what there talking about so i respect that.

Heavy Rain, A controversial game that has been a hit since it first came out.

Gameplay
-Unique

There is no game-over in this game! its meant to be fun and you will never have to replay scenarios or scenes. Its meant for you to choose your path and either to cause destruction or good. The choice is yours!

-The WOW Experience

What i mean is that this game will always keep you on your toes. Just as soon as you think its calmed down an action sequences. If you do not pay attention you could "miss it" and trust me you'll regret it!

-Controls

User-Friendly about sums it up. Without having a control system that's always in-tact the game switches it up an you never know what you may end up. This keep's you ready to "button smash" if you will and also keeps you entertained. Sometimes the controls get blurry and that even adds to the tension. Its one of those things you have never experienced and i highly recommend it



Overall Rating:

I highly recommend this game! You will enjoy every second of it and the ending will leave you wanting more. But don't take my word for it go and give it a play for yourself!

A great, fun, addictive game the whole family can enjoy.
I got this game with a recommendation from a friend, and I've never regretted it since. I must have played over 50 hours on it at very least. Which is good for me to stick with one game for that long.

The DS is the perfect console for this game, the touch-screen adds an easy gaming interface and it's easy to control actions which would be hard with usual hand-helds (like the PSP).

Animal Crossing is pretty much a virtual world where you play as yourself and try and create a town and live a virtual life, in your little village with all your animal friends.

I couldn't believe I was playing it at first, the graphics looked childish and I honestly thought I was gonna get flamed by my mates for playing it, but I honestly couldn't care after 1 day of playing. The amount of activities you can do is insane! From fishing to bug catching or even creating your own orchard! You can pay off your mortgage and expand your home. You can also make custom designs at Sable's and Mable's. The General Store owner (Nook) owns your house and sets you off on your mission into this awesome new virtual world. I guarantee you endless hours of fun with this hand-held real time game.

Like lots of hackers i do have a r4 and have tons of games on it. But instead of waiting for someone to upload the game to a torrent site i actually went i bought the game

Now i was so excited to play the game even though i have played diamond & pearl that i started to play as soon as i got home (from the store).
I played for 6 hours that night!
The game is very, very addicting!
Not only has there been tweaks in the game i find the game more enjoyable the diamond & pearl.

I still have not beat the game
(its very long)

In America through a promotion via Toys R Us, Shaymin has a new form known as its "Sky Forme", a dual Grass- and Flying-type Pokémon. When traded to Diamond or Pearl from Platinum, Shaymin will transform from its Sky Forme back to its regular forme or Land Form. Its really cool!

When the special Regigigas that is given out with a pre-order ticket for Giratina to Sora no Hanataba ( A pokemon Movie) : Shaymin is traded from Diamond or Pearl to Platinum, it activates an event that makes Regirock, Regice, and Registeel available to catch in Platinum.

Five exclusive forms of Rotom were introduced. Rotom's forms are unlockable by use of a Secret Key made available for download over Wi-Fi Connection via Platinum's onboard Mystery Gift function.

Even The Reviews had high raiting!

Famitsu gave the game a score of 9/9/9/9 for a total of 36 points. "From the new story elements to the addition of the Battle Frontier, there's a ton of neat stuff, and you're getting a lot for your money here," they remarked. IGN gave the game an 8.8 out of 10 saying it was easily the definitive version but it was difficult to praise a two-year-old game.


Conclusion

This has got to be the best game i have played for the ds (no joke) Its really that fun! So go out a download it or go and buy it and have fun!

Urban Terror is a FPS (First-person-shooter) running on the old Quake engine.

Urban Terror is very unrealistic and it knows it is, in fact, Frozen Sand (The company who developed Urban Terror) have started a motto of "Fun over realism". I can honestly see what they mean.

At first you may find it confusing as a hard core FPS addict why it's so easy to get into!
When I was 10 I never really played FPS but Urban Terror was free and a friend recommended it so I thought "What the hell" and tried it out. I have never looked back from that moment. I still play Urban Terror to this very day. (Though I've improved a vast amount, I'm still by far not very good)
Now and again, I see players who have been playing for a couple of days with utter gratitude towards the game. The control system is easy and fluent, with jumping and "grinding" keeping your blood pumping and your adrenalin racing (And these techniques aren't hard to master, only took me a few weeks!).

Urban Terror's engine (The Quake and Quake 2 engine) has been praised by development company's for a long long time. The easy adaptability of the engine makes it a favorite among development teams, combined with it's stability and it's huge functionality. Makes it an extremely effective engine when mixed with Urban Terror.

I definitely recommend at least trying it out, if you don't like it, no harm done. But you may be like me and never stop playing it. (I can imagine my self as an old man playing it...Kinda creepy )
